Restrictions On What You Can Store

1 – Please ensure you pack your items well. They are your responsibility so when packing, remember they need to be transported from your front door to our storage facility in Rainham so the use of bubble wrap or similar for those fragile items is advisable.

Whilst we take extremely good care of your items when they are in our possession, the better they are packed the less chance there is they will be damaged.

Please bear in mind that our insurances don’t cover an item that would typically fall into the ‘fragile’ category so vases, plates, china items, glass items etc are all acceptable but won’t be covered on our insurance.

2 – We reserve the right to refuse to store an item if we deem it unsuitable for our storage environment. Items we expressly forbid are:

• Illegal or stolen items.
• Any organic lifeform living or dead.
• Perishable goods.
• Firearms, weapons, ammunition, explosives.
• Flammables of any kind (petrol, diesel, oil, paint, cleaning solvents etc).
• Hazardous or toxic items of any kind.
• Any items that emit fumes or an odour of any kind.
• Chemicals, radioactive materials or biological agents.
• Compressed gases.
• Any item of high value or requiring specialist storage including without limitation, fine wines, antiques, jewellery, bonds, securities, stamps, fine art or bullion.
• Any item which may adversely affect anything outside of your Storage Box(s) and / or Oversized Item(s).
